I didnt say anything rude about her . Shes making a goofy face. So what ? Also , my job is to make the customer happy . If I gave her this photo, i dont think she would be . Maybe as a snap shot , But this isnt one she would be showing her friends. Because i know her and i know what she likes . I think she would appercaite it more if i took the time to make her feel like she looked the very best she can .
Sorry, but her "goofy" face adds to the photo! Heather, if you want to be a portrait photographer and shoot stuff beyond the plain old posed portraits, you're going to have a lot of goofy faces. In the end it's what your client likes, not what you or anyone else likes....
Evelyn i fully 100% agree, why not put a fun face on, its a fun photo, yes it captures the moment & I even like it but that wasn't my point at all, not at all. please reread my comment. Again it's just my opinion as I said it's her call. thanks Ron
We talk alot about shooting people and cutting off their heads and amputating limbs, and burning them. Its a violent profession/hobby.
Ron ~ I think you misunderstood me! I'm sure she would not appreciate the portrait as one she would hang on the wall, but as a fun portrait only! It's true we should be careful when posting portraits of our clients that we should be mindful of their feelings.... I agree, it's important to not comment on negative features, etc, on the internet, or forum, or risk losing or upsetting that client!
Heather enough with the Avatar changes, your turning into a "Sybil" .... just thought you might be too young to know "Sybil" anyway please stop it you even have Evelyn doing it now. Can't you guys make up your mind.......
See Evelyn we disagree again - I could see her putting it up on the family wall! Absolutely - its much better than those drab Kmart portraits that they have hanging anyway It was the wording of the comment that I felt was not necessary.
Ron ~ If she didn't mind the face she was making and liked it, then I would put this on the wall! Oh, notice the new Avatar! It's me again, Grover was just holding my place for awhile! LOL!
