Here is a fox that keep my entertained for about 20 minutes just playing and having a good ol time by himself
Nice shot Mike - Foxes usually don't let you get too close, so would I be correct in assuming you handheld a 400 or 500 0r 200/tele?? I rented a house in Sands Point before I got married & I regularly left the house very early in the morning and had the pleasure on many occassions to see foxes, but they surely wouldn't allow me anywhere near them, which is why I firgured a long lens
Thanks and you are correct handheld 400mm I was sitting down and he didn't seem to mind me being there.
Awesome picture! Looked like in that one he's like who's this dude with the big camera lens checking me out? LOL. I had the pleasure of seeing one up close at Robert Moses, but only for a few seconds along the parkway near the lighthouse. He was very skiddish and when I tried to open my car door to try and zoom close he took off. I circled around again but he was gone. They actually look similar in this picture. I would've thought you were at Fire Island for this one. But a great shot!!!
